<River Sunset> is a China-US wartime espionage drama set in 1942 during the height of World War II in the Asia-Pacific theater. The series was jointly produced by Shanghai Yongyi Film and Television Investment Co.ltd, AMG Films USA, Beijing Jiatian Shengjing Culture Communication Co., Ltd, as well as Suzhou Trace Vision Co., Ltd. The show was co-directed by Chinese director Yilong Zhao and US director Sean Picchinino.
